Product Warranty Information | Policies |

Product Warranty:

In addition to our Guarantee, most products are covered by a specific written warranty by the manufacturer.   If you want specific warranty information on a particular product, please contact our service department.  

 

Sales Tax:

A sales tax of 6% applies to orders shipped to an Iowa address.

 

Payment Options:

We accept Visa, MasterCard Discover Card is charged at the time your order is placed online.

 

Order Confirmation:

Order confirmations are sent to you via email automatically when you provide us with your valid email address when you check out online.   Once you provide a valid email you will be emailed a tracking update when your item (s) ship.  

 

Order Tracking:

You will be emailed tracking update(s) when your item(s) ship when you provide us with your valid email address when ordering.   If an item is not received by the seventh (7) business day please email us at thatsmytruck.com and we will track the order for you.

 

Order Changes and Cancellations:

That’s My Truck.com goal is to provide the fastest possible service to our customers by using our many distributions centers across the nation.    Accomplishing this goal makes it extremely difficult to cancel or make changes to orders.   You may contact our customer service department with a change or cancellation request and we will do everything possible to accommodate your request.   However, there is a good chance that your package will already be on its way!   If your order has already been shipped you will need to return the item through our normal Returns Process.

 

Free Ground Shipping:

Orders of $150.00 or more shipping to an address in the continental United States qualify for Free Ground Shipping. Free ground shipping is standard ground shipping service to addresses in the continental United States.   We use Fed Ex Ground as our primary shipper, but reserve the right to choose the best way possible depending on the customers’ location.   Items that require oversized shipping, common carrier (truck freight) special shipping and handling services require and additional handling fee.                                                                                                                                                                                                                

 

Order Shipping:

We ship all orders that qualify for Free Ground shipping to addresses in the continental United States by UPS Ground, Fed EX Ground. You may also upgrade to Expedited Shipping at an additional charge.    We select the best possible shipped based on your location and which warehouse it will be shipped from so you can get your item in the fastest possible way.   Items that require Oversize Shipping, Common Carrier (truck freight) shipping or special shipping and handling services may require an additional handling fee to be paid by the customer.   Orders are normally processed within 24 hours from the time the order was placed.   A confirmation email will be sent to you, provided you enter a valid email when you place your order, confirming that your order has been processed.   Standard ground shipping normally requires 3-7 business days for delivery.   Please provide a street address for all deliveries.   Note:   If the item you want to purchase must be shipped by common carrier (truck freight) it will be noted in that products feature section.   Shipping by a common carrier (truck freight) requires additional handling fees.   If going by common carrier we must have a business address for freight delivery or you can pick it up at the carriers dock address located in your area. This is requested as a safety precaution for the customer in case of any damage where the customer can refuse shipment.   If the carrier left the customers order at a residential address and the customer was not there to receive and sign for the order any damage would fall upon the customer not the shipper.   We are just trying to eliminate problems that could come about.

 

Standard Ground Orders:  

Generally ship out with in 3-5 business days.   Most orders are shipped within 1 business day.   If your order will take longer than 5 business days to ship, you will be notified via email.   Standard shipping delivery vary times vary depending on where you live and which warehouse your item is shipped out from.   Standard ground shipping normally takes 3-7 business days for delivery.   For faster delivery, you may upgrade to Expedited Shipping.

 

Expedited Orders:

Orders placed before 1:00PMCentral Standard Time will ship out the same day or next business day.   If your expedited order will take longer than the next business day to ship, you will be notified via email.   Expedited orders do not qualify for the free shipping.

 

Handling Fee:

Some items due to the size of the product or shipping requirements may have an additional handling fee.   We will contact you to inform you of any additional handling charges.

 

Common Carrier (Truck Freight) Shipping

Some items due to the product size or shipping requirements will be shipped via common carrier. And do not qualify for the free shipping.

 

Expedited Shipping:

You can get your order faster by upgrading to Expedited Shipping.   Ground shipping and Free Ground Shipping orders are shipped with standard ground shipping service.   However, if you want your order faster, you can select 3 day, 2 day or 1 day shipping when checking out online.   To determine expedited shipping rates:   Simply add the item to the shopping cart and select 3 day, 2 day, or 1 day shipping.   Expedited Shipping orders to the continental United States: Orders placed before 1:00P M Central Standard Time will ship out the same day or next business day if in stock.    Please provide both a phone number and a valid email address for expedited shipping.   We will notify you if there will be a delay in your order.   Please note this policy does not apply to orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii may require additional preparation so please allow 3-5 business days for the item(s) to be shipped out.   However, most orders placed before 1:00 PM Central Standard Time is generally shipped out the next business day.

 

 

Alaska, Hawaii,

 

Orders shipped to AK, HI must be shipped via 2nd Day or Next Day Air via UPS or Fed Ex. To view rate select either 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air as shipping option in the shopping cart at the time of checkout.   Please Note: Some items may not be available to be shipped to AK, HI.   If this applies to an item you ordered, we will let you know.   Items that require Oversize Shipping or Special shipping and handling services may require an Additional Handling Fee.   We will advise you if additional shipping charges apply.   AK, HI orders may require additional preparation so please allow 3-5 business days for the item(s) to be shipped out.   However, most item(s) orders placed before 1:00 PM Central Standard Time are generally shipped out the next business day.

Is it safe to order online?

Absolutely! In fact it is statistically safer to use your credit card over the inter net than in a restaurant or department store That’s My Truck.com uses Secure Socket Layer, encryption technology that works with AOL, Netscape Navigator and Microsoft explorer so that only That’s My Truck.com can read your order and credit card.   This technology is an industry standard and fully endorsed by all major credit card companies.   In the highly unlikely case that someone does make an unauthorized charge on a credit card because of a That’s My Truck.com transaction, the cardholder will not be held liable.

 

Can I change my order?

My Order was Damaged During Shipping.
If your order arrives with obvious damage and you refuse the shipment, notify us immediately by e-mailing us at That’s My Truck.com and we will make arrangements to ship a replacement.
If you discover that your order was damaged due to shipping after receiving it, please complete our Return Merchandise Form.  You have 5 (five) business days to report any shipping damage. You will then be issued a Return Authorization Number.   All RA#’s are emailed in 2-3 business days with complete specific instructions after filling out the Return Merchandise Form.

Note:  For common carrier (truck freight) shipments, prior to signing for the shipment, the item must be inspected and any shipping damage must be noted on the shipping receipt at the time of delivery.  If you have noted shipping damage with the carrier, you can then contact us to re-ship your order.  The carrier is responsible for processing your claim.

There Was an Error in My Order
In case your order arrives with an error please notify us by completing the Return Merchandise Request Form.   You will be issued a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and provided with complete instructions for returning the item(s).

 Note: A return label can only be requested if the part(s) returned due to the fault of That’s My Truck, otherwise the consumer is responsible for the return shipment. Return labels will be sent to the customer within 1-2 business days by the first class US mail.   The customer will receive the return label in 5-7 business days.

 

Our Return Policy

 You may return any item(s) within 30 days of receipt.  All item(s) must be in their original box and in saleable condition or subject to a restocking fee in the amount of 20% of the order.   A 20% restocking fee will be subjected to all returns that are not the direct result of our error.

Electronic Equipment and accessories cannot be returned, except in the case of damaged.    Electrical parts must be not be unsealed or will be subject to our 20% restocking fee. Please do not return any products without completing a Return Merchandise Form first or be subject to a 20% restocking fee of the order.

Returning instructions:

  1. Notify us by completing the Return Merchandise Request Form:  We need to know the item(s) you are returning, why you are returning it, when you received it, including your name and order number.
  2. Then we will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RA#) along with complete written instructions.
  3. Please write this RA# on the package label only and ship the item back in its original packaging.  Ship the item postage paid.  Shipping charges are not refundable unless due to our error.   Please keep the return tracking number you will receive for future reference in case there is a shipping problem. .  No collect shipments are accepted.

The following only apply to returns that are the fault of That’s My Truck:

1.       Follow the instructions on the back of the FedEx return label.

2.       Attach the FedEx return label to the outside of the box

3.       Contact FedEx for pickup by the following the instructions on the label backing.

Ship to:

You will be given specific instructions on the return mailing address at the time you receive your RA Number.   You will receive the warehouse address that the item(s) needs to be shipped to, in some cases due to your location the warehouse may or may not be the same one it was shipped from.   Please do not return the item(s) without a RA # or you will be subject to a 20% restocking fee of the order.

Additional Charges

  1. Shipping damage: Once we receive confirmation that the item(s) has been returned and has been approved and processed your refund will be credited to the credit card you used to buy the merchandise.   Unless you prefer and you want to request That’s My Truck to ship out a replacement/exchange, whereas you must fill out a Return Merchandise Form.   No restocking fee will apply unless customer shipped item(s) without a RA # whereas a 20% restocking fee of the order will apply.
  2. Return for Credit:   Your credit card will be refunded the original purchase less a restocking fee once the items are received.   The restocking fee for item(s) is set at 20% of the order.   Additional handling fees are non-refundable.   The customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges to return the item(s) according to our return policies. 
  3. Return for Exchange: If the customer is exchanging the item(s) purchased due to change of mind or customers error, once the item has been received and inspected we will ship the item(s) once you have filled out the Return Merchandise form.   Note: your credit card will be charged a 20% re-stock fee or $25.00 whichever is greater, for the original order.   We must charge a re-stocking fee because the item(s) need to be inspected and repackaged.

Why Do I need a RA Number?   Yes

A.                 Identification:  Our warehouses receive hundreds of packages every day.  Without an RA number (Return Authorization) identifying it, your package may become lost.

  1. Getting your package to the right warehouse.  We have multiple warehouses throughout the United States that we ship from.  Returned merchandise must be sent back to the warehouse we direct you to return it to.  Shipping a return to the wrong warehouse will delay the processing of your return and may result in additional fees or your item(s) lost in shipping.   To expedite the return processes please follow our return policy.   We are not responsible for lost packages.
  2. Avoiding lost returns.  Without a proper RA number and Tracking number, your package can easily get lost.  Without these numbers, identifying a lost package is almost impossible.  If we do not receive or cannot find a package we cannot process your return.
  3. Receiving credit or avoiding additional charges.  Please keep a tracking number when you return your merchandise.  This is your proof of shipment.  Without proof of shipment, if your package becomes lost we cannot issue credit.  In addition, if you request a reship, without proof of shipment of the returned item, we must charge you for the replacement of the reshipment.

Tracking Replacement/Exchange:
Once you have submitted the Return Merchandise t Form, we will e-mail you your new tracking number.

Warranty: Warranties are handled directly with the manufacturer.   Please contact our customer service via email to handle all warranty claims.   Shipping costs (returning and reshipping) will be the responsibility of the customer.
